My Story
Interior design has always been my passion. You may think that repeatedly decorating, refurbishing and extending my dolls house as a child was an odd apprenticeship. But it was a great way to try out all aspects of design and experience the effect of colour, trends, style, and use of space.
My love for interior design continued to grow and I realised I had a natural flair as I can always visualise how a space could look.

After studying interior design, I began my home staging career, starting one of the very first home staging businesses in New Zealand. This was in the days when people didn't even know what home staging was. This business started in my garage. It progressed into a highly successful and one of the largest home staging businesses in New Zealand that was capable of staging up to 100 homes at any one time.

As a people person I want the best for each of my clients - I want them to experience what good design can do for them. Most of all I want their homes to inspire and empower them to live their best life.
​
During my three decades in the industry, I have seen many trends and styles. This gives me an edge in recognising what existing items work in a home and what is needed to enhance or modernise the space. I have a real skill in knowing what to keep, what to take away and what needs to be done to fill in the gaps.
​
Design is not only about the look, important as this is. In a home, it must also be practical and improve the comfort and wellbeing of the people and even pets who live there. I don't believe you need to spend a lot of money to achieve great design results and I enjoy the challenge of working to a budget.
